The Mind Destruction Virus is a computer virus that affects cyborgs. A cyborg coming into contact with another machine or having the MDV installed into their brain destroys the cyborg’s mind, plainly enough.
The origins of the MDV are unsubstantiated, but many believe it was developed by an anti-cyborg group or one individual who had an agenda against cyborgs.
