JyneTech is a corporation that specializes in the programming of sentient mechanics. It does not produce any hardware, it only works on the software that runs them.
Sentient mechanics derive their sentience from the many programmers of companies like JyneTech. JyneTech "gives life," as it were, to many of these sentient mechanics.
JyneTech's technology is technically based on Artificial Intelligence developed earlier in human history. After many breakthroughs in computer programming technology, JyneTech was able to capitalize on the idea of Sentience by selling it.
