Dimensional Window
From The Monoverse: A Non-Linear Sci-Fi Epic
A dimensional window is created when Dimensional Energies intersect -- a "window" into the intersecting dimension is created by these energies in random places around the Monoverse. If used correctly, you can use a Dimensional Window to transfer into another dimension.
The more dimensions that intersect a particular time, the more windows are created in each dimension going to all the others. It is hard to find one, as they are fairly rare and hard to detect. A dimensional window can be described as a "natural" dimensional vortex.
