Constructs are usually classified as models, and are assigned model numbers. Constructs typically have a model number, and a model name, which are designated by the manufacturers. The name of a particular construct is either named by the manufacturer or by the first owner, and is registered in the Construct Registry.

For example:

308-239 - Titan

or

308-246 - Titan II

The first set of numbers is the manufacturer ID. The second set of numbers is the construct ID, and the name is the model name for easier identification.

The construct ID is a declared run of a model. Any modifications that include updates or structural updates classify that construct as a new model.
