Laser shear

A laser shear is a large forearm blade. It usually extends the length of a forearm and ends in a point past the user's hand and shoulder blade.

A laser shear is essentially three bracelets -- one that is hooked onto the wrist and one that is hooked onto the upper arm, with a controller on the elbow.

The lower and upper bracelets are called "power bracelets" -- these bracelets are the pieces of the weapon that are the power of the blade. The control bracelet, on the elbow, connects the two bracelet's power and holds it within a field that makes it concentrated. The control bracelet also has most of the controls of the laser shear, such as intensity, shape, and color. It also allows for the blade to be bent, so as to not go through parts of the user's body in order to connect the power signatures.

Without a control bracelet, the power bracelets would not form into a laser shear.
