[[The Bounty Hunter Council]] is the sole governing architecture, under the guise of a [[corporation]], of all of the [[bounty hunter]]s in the universe. Although, not all [[bounty hunter]]s are card-holding members of this council, it does speak for the majority of [[bounty hunter]]s out there.

[[The Bounty Hunter Council]] has promoted itself to be something of a consumer advocate group for bounty hunting -- it promotes legitimate [[bounty hunter]]s and their practices, while harrowing those that don't follow generalized policies set forth by [[the Bounty Hunter Council]].

Those who do not abide by [[the Bounty Hunter Council]] are on a list of bounty hunters to watch out for, and this list is publicly available as a way to convince those on the list to realign themselves with the council and avoid having unnecessary attention. Depending on the severity of their offenses, the council may put a hit out on that bounty hunter as well.
